Antonisha Owens spearheads Pearls of the Land CLT, a new a 10-acre project in Candor focusing on regenerative agriculture, agritourism, housing, and the development of a commercial enterprise campus in Candor, New York. The project will include residential housing, retail businesses, a conservatory event center, regenerative farming operations, alpaca fiber production, renewable energy infrastructure, and manufacturing facilities for AficaPure botanical beauty products.

It’s Pillars are as follows:

Afica Farm: A production site and educational model for sustainable growing practices, cultivating botanical crops, medicinal herbs, and specialty products.

AficaPure Botanical Beauty: A farm-to-product economic model that transforms raw ingredients into value-added wellness products (oils, soaps, teas) processed in our on-site conservatory and sold via our Farm Store. 

Afica Farm Girls Camp: An immersive program teaching agricultural skills, herbal education, beauty product entrepreneurship, and confidence to the next generation of leaders.

It’s goals:

CLT & Cooperative Training: Workshops and technical assistance providing aspiring farmers and community leaders with blueprints for collective land ownership and wealth-building.

Nature Retreat Lodging: On-site camping, glamping experiences that immerse visitors in land stewardship while generating sustainable, unrestricted revenue for our non-profit initiatives.

Community Wellness: Nature-based workshops, seasonal festivals, and healing gatherings designed to restore community connection to the land.

Land & Environment: Safely steward 9 acres of wooded and cleared farmland using 100% regenerative practices.

Youth Empowerment: Graduate 20 youth from the Afica Farm Girls Camp annually, providing $10,000 in scholarships.

Economic Mobility: Provide technical training in cooperative economics to aspiring underserved farmers.

Community Wellness. Host 10 to 20 cultural healing events and welcome 50 to 100 eco-tourists, boosting the local rural economy.
